I almost like the premise of this book. Ukishima, by Nigel Sellars.
But, after reading the first half page, I realized Nigel was busy writing ‘his’ world upon the world of his protagonist.
That pulls me out of the fictive dream.
I will try to download and read the whole book. But, when the writer pulls me out of the fictive dream, it is sometimes difficult to finish a book.
How about you? Can you read a book without being in the fictive dream?
