What it is like to be a Muslim woman, and why we know what freedom is (and you may not)

Friends,

Here is a story from Freshly Pressed about what some Muslim women go through.

Please remember, like my comment on that page, the progressive agenda is destroying many more women’s lives here in the USA than is proper Islam. Militant Islam and progressives are causing damage in both cultures.

Love the people around you.

Seek forgiveness, and love. Put off all forms of evil, hatred, anger, and greed.

Do you think we can do that for at least this week?

Ghost.

Wow. Her post is a piece of darn good writing. I may not agree with some of her political leanings or life choices now that she’s exploring her new-found freedom, but I’m glad she’s shedding the fears and the chains of the old life. She could be speaking to battered, abused, or confined women around the world, regardless of religion or lack thereof. Her essay should be required reading, especially for folks who think America is the bad guy, or that our freedoms are evil.

    • An American woman wrote this …. 🙂

It has some ‘dramatic’ elements to the story. She hints at that.

Yes, it paints America as the better alternative.

Did you notice how she ‘escaped’ from no job to a very good paying job just by moving to America, but many of our workers cannot find jobs?

Very well written, and like you, I may not agree with all of her politics. But, it is darned good writing.

      Thank you for your comment!
